Notice on Collect and Use Personal Information

  1. Purpose of collection and use: To recruit full-time professors
    • To be used in the recruitment process to confirm applicants’ identity; to evaluate applicants; to handle general recruitment procedures; to confirm applicants’ experience and qualifications (inquiry and verification); and to determine whether to employ applicants.
  2. Items to be collected and used:
    • Discplines, Areas of concentration, Research Area, Field of Experience, Applicant's personal information(name, e-mail, cell phone), Educational information(major, GPA(grades), degree earned), Teaching, Research, and Working experiences(type of experience, institution, department, job title, employment period), License(Certificates), Papers(title, journal name, type, author), Report and Working Achievement(title, period, responsbility, funding, funding institution), Awards, Patent, Recommender's information(name, position, institution), Research and teaching plan
  3. Ground of collecting information
    • 4 Item 1 of article 15 of Act on the Protection of Personal Information
  4. Retention/Use Period
    • Personal information will be retained for 180 days after confirming appointment
  5. Right to Refuse the Agree
    • Consent to collect and use of personal information may be rejected. However, if an applicant does not agree, his/her application will not be accepted because it makes it impossible to actually proceed with the recruitment process.

Note

  • Save application every 30 min. If not, an applicant’s data will not be saved.
  • Use only one e-mail address. If not, the original application may be revoked.
  • Application can be amended during application period.
  • Do not write or upload any unnecessary personal information such as residential, alien registration, and passport number.
